What is INNEA Aqua?

INNEA Aqua is an injectable skin booster made with hyaluronic acid (HA), a material that holds water, and trehalose, a sugar added to protect and stabilise the formula. It is used by medical professionals for skin-quality treatment.

Glo Pharma operates this website and is the sole distributor of INNEA Aqua in Singapore.

What is it registered for in Singapore?

The Singapore Health Sciences Authority (HSA) record lists INNEA Aqua for ageing and sun-related skin changes, including roughness, reduced radiance and wrinkles. It also lists dermal repair after superficial skin trauma, such as acne and chickenpox scars.

The registered areas are the face, décolleté—the upper chest—and hands.

If a scar is your main concern, your doctor can explain what type it is and how they would judge improvement. For roughness or wrinkles, agree which visible change you want to assess.

What is in the formula?

The formula combines two sizes of linear HA chains. “Linear” means the chains are not chemically joined together through cross-linking. It contains 25 mg/mL HA and 1% trehalose.

HA’s water-holding ability helps explain its use in skin-quality treatments. Trehalose is added to protect and stabilise the HA. The formulation describes how the product is designed; the evidence helps you judge the changes it may make in treated skin.

What should you know before treatment?

Treatment involves injections. Your doctor should explain the expected recovery, possible side effects and how to get help if something worries you afterwards. Mention allergies, medicines, previous treatments and any important work or social dates.

The plan should cover the change you hope to see, the number of visits, the full cost and when to review the result. Reading first can help you decide what you want to discuss.
